Sonoma County School Districts

With over 250 wineries, Sonoma is the southwestern county of California's Wine Country region; it was once home to several Native American tribes. Its rich agricultural land is largely divided between two uses: grapes and pasturage. Sonoma County has a rich history; it contains a large number of historical monuments and for many years in the 19th and early 20th centuries was a leading center of commerce, agriculture, population, and even politics. Places of interest include Moonrock Campground, Plaza Park, Petaluma Adobe State Historical Monument and Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve. Sonoma County is home of Sonoma State University and Santa Rosa Junior College. With its excellent schools, rich culture and heritage, Sonoma County is a wonderful place to live in and raise a family.
